This was a pretty straight forward piece. A lot of the work I've been doing is straight from pen and ink, then I upload it and correct some of the paper effects. 'She' started off just black and white (I may upload her original file as well) then the 'blocks' were done by ink and watercolor pencils. Some assemblage required, then here it is. I even created the type font for the band's logo.

The guys were telling me that they wanted a progressive rock looking cover, but trying to be original (like not using Roger Dean art lol). They were pretty set on her being unusual, the purple skin was the first thing that crossed their mind. I wanted it to have a feel like she was in a different plane of existence, and that the blocks are like a window into another world (a landscape).
